From Tangier to all of Morocco.

ACIRM is a non-partisan, non-political and non-profit association open to all Italians residing in Morocco and to Moroccans who have obtained Italian nationality while keeping dual nationality.
The association is based in Tangier and, through the creation of regional branch offices, we intend to extend our support to the entire Kingdom of Morocco.
We support anyone wishing to obtain an Italian visa in all available categories (tourist, student, work, family reunification), following the procedure from start to finish. Our ACIRM members provide accurate information for each visa type and offer translation services. Before starting the process, the client must have a valid passport and a clear idea of the visa category they need. Working with our association helps avoid the mistakes that can easily occur when navigating consulate procedures independently.
We offer comprehensive assistance to Italians who wish to move to Morocco as expats: support with procedures required by the Moroccan government to obtain a residence card (logistical support, translation, local networking, administrative assistance) and with the process of registering with AIRE. We also provide advice to retirees on housing, lifestyle and social contacts. For investors, we offer support in finding local partners, navigating bureaucratic procedures, and connecting with legal authorities operating in the country.
We help those planning to live in Morocco complete their mandatory AIRE (Registry of Italians Residing Abroad) registration, explaining in detail the advantages and disadvantages of this enrollment.
Our Association has been active in Morocco since 2020, with a primary focus on social activities for the Italian and Italian-Moroccan community. We have assisted over 500 people who sought our collaboration and support, and we maintain close contact with diplomatic, consular and Embassy authorities, who help us address specific questions and foster social and cultural cooperation between Italy and Morocco.
ACIRM, the Italian Cultural Association in the Kingdom of Morocco, is founded in Tangier on 3 February 2020 and registered with the Municipality of Tangier on 7 February 2020.
The statute is registered with the Moroccan authorities. First assembly with founding members: Gerolamo Fracastoro (President), Giuseppe Lo Piccolo and Giulio Maver (Vice-Presidents), Luca Gritti (Treasurer), Elena Maniglia and Salah Ouassini Jamal Eddine (Board Members).
ACIRM is accredited with the Consulate General of Italy in Casablanca.
ACIRM takes part in a solidarity initiative for the community of Tamegroute, distributing food boxes alongside the Arrahma pour les Travaux Sociaux association.
On 28 February 2023, a scientific and organisational agreement is signed between the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tangier and the University of Verona, supported by ACIRM.
On 13 June 2024, the ACIRM President visits the Municipality of Genoa in the presence of then-mayor Marco Bucci and municipal representatives, completing the twinning between Genoa and Tangier first activated in 2020.
